Herbalism Resources

Want to become your own herbalist? Just want to learn the science behind the medicine?

Herbalism Takes many years to learn, and a Lifetime to master. As with any practitioner, be sure to thoroughly evaluate and discuss with an herbalist before entrusting your health and well being with them to make sure you are a good fit and they are knowledgeable. I strongly urge you to never trust anyone who says they have All The Answers, or who is the “only one” who can “fix” you. Some may not have your best health in mind, or may simply not be know or be trained enough with your specific circumstances and needs. Take your time and make sure with any decision you go with. Before anything, I want to make sure you are cared for and listened to.

Prepare a list of questions, as well as some relevant medical information (If you are comfortable sharing that) when you meet for the first time. This can help both of you to determine if you are a good fit for each other.

As for my own scope of care, I specialize in LGBTQ+ care, disability and mental health care, and end-of-life care and the overlap with spirituality and religion. If this interests you then feel free to reach out! If not, I encourage you to find an herbalist that resonates with you.
